This beautiful wood ia durable, but does need some special care.
Hand wash with only mild soap and water.
Dont let the item soak and dry right awat with a soft cloth.
Never air-dry them in refrigerator or dishwasher.
Extreme temperatures, humidity and dry air can causes the wood to cracks so store them in a spot with good air circulation away from direct sunlight, heaters and the oven.
Occasionally rub with mineral oil to maintain the finish
